Failure of right hand DPG210L glove

DeWalt - Failure of right hand DPG210L glove

Within the past year, I bought, for me, a pair of expensive DeWalt work gloves. I didn't use them right away as I am retired and don't do much manual labor anymore.

After removing tags, etc., I pulled them on and the seam of the "cuff" and the "glove" opened up due to stitching that failed to catch and complete the seam. I no longer had a receipt but took them back where to where I bought them, Lowe's. They preceded to tell me that without a receipt they would do nothing. The gloves are obviously new and never been worn.

I figured it would be a case of an exchange and the faulty gloves given to a DeWalt rep for compensation. Same as with a faulty tool still in warranty. I'm left with gloves that are faulty and no action from Lowe's. (Lesson learned there.

Home Depot is just across the street.) Can I get any help from Dewalt. I just want the same or a comparable pair of gloves. I'm not pissed at DeWalt but disappointed at Lowe's response. KaKa happens and I'm sure as fast as the Chinese sew these gloves, more than one pair has a bad seam occasionally.

If given an address I will send pics. Dean Daniels

I own various Dewalt tools which I bought thinking they would last me a lifetime. Unfortunately Dewalt does not keep spares for older models once they have brought out a new model.

I cannot get simple spares for my tools which are in generally very good condition forcing me to replace them with new tools.

Warranty on power washer.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My thoughtful wife purchased their 3300psi power washer in late October on sale @ Home Depot and gave it to me at Christmas. She was really happy with her purchase and so was I.

Well you don't use a power washer in December so when April came we fired it up and washed the whole back of our house. The next weekend we did the rest of the house. Just want to be clear that's just 2 times used for minimum hours. Two weeks later pulled my tractor out hooked up the sprayer and starting washing.

I squeezed the handle 3 times and on the 4th no pressure. looking at it, I found a broken like bolt end laying on the ground. Okay so it's broke, things happen, no big deal. Take it back to Home Depot.

Oh the warranty from HD is 90 days. What? Really? 90 days on a power washer bought in October.

That's ridiculous!!! We contacted Dewalt's customer service and was told also only 90 days to replace it but can take it to a authorized service shop so in early May dropped off to be serviced. We looked at it and I showed him the easily fixable bolt. It's hollow and with an easy out we took the broken hollow bolt out.

He said it's part of the pressure relief valve. No problem, a couple weeks. A month later called no part yet. That's when I found out the incredibly pathetic stupidity of Dewalt.

This is the only power washer with this design and that bolt. they had so many failures it was scrapped. Now you would think Dewalt knowing this epic fail would honor such flaw but there is NO HONOR AT DEWALT.

2 1/2 months later I now have a fixed power washer that I know, service knows, and Dewalt knows is going to fail again which next time will be an expense out of my pocket. F*%K DEWALT.

Home Depot doesn’t have any warranties. They have a 90 day return policy.(30 days for unused gas powered items, 48 hours for appliances).

A 90 day return policy is actually the norm. I believe only Kohl’s has a longer one at 180 days.

De Walt has a three year warranty. They will repair the item if any issues.

CHINESE MADE POWER TOOLS

I will not buy Communist/Socialist made products.

Original review Jan 06, 2024
I refuse to buy any products that are made outside the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I recently purchased a DeWalt power tool from Lowes.

It was purposely not marked on the box that it was MADE IN CHINA, but when I opened the box I found that it was MADE IN CHINA. Like everythingelse I have ever bought MADE IN CHINA, it was sub-standard in quality and typical Chinese book of directions that made NO SENSE that could not be understood and that are COMMUNIST made.
For fifty (50) years my family and I have relied on DeWalt tools. Not anymore!! I will never buy another DeWalt product because of your stance with COMMUNIST governments.

Most of the foreign-made goods are slave-made. This is not acceptable and I will only buy American-made products.

Your company is anti-American and I will have nothing to do with DeWalt. or Lowes anymore.

Overpriced trash

Weve been running Milwaukee makita and dewalt in 3 of our trucks. Trying to figure out why I have to order batteries for Dewalt at minimum 3 to 1 to the Makita or Milwaukee. I seriously do not understand what Black and Decker is doing to Dewalt but it is not good. I should not have to purchase batteries monthy to keep one truck going and this will definately be changed to makita when the rest of the tools fail.
